Jeffrey L. Mausteller, 52, of Evans City died Thursday morning at Passavant
Community Center in Zelienople.
Born Jan. 5, 1955, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Rose Ella Strickland and
the late Dr. Wilson Mausteller.
He served in the Navy and was a safety engineer for Rhom and Haas before
becoming ill.
He attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where he was a choir member.
He was a board member of Safe Place in Louisville, Ky., and a life member of
the Evans City Volunteer Fire Company, serving on the fireman's board.
Mr. Mausteller was also the vice president of a search dog team in
Louisville, Ky.
Surviving are his wife, Lois McCormick Mausteller, whom he married June 26,
1984; his mother of Evans City; a son, Frederick Mausteller of Kentucky; a
daughter, Tracy Mausteller of Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. David (Barbara) Pyle
of Delaware, Mrs. Chan (Lisa) Kai of Singapore, China, and Mrs. Gary (Linda)
Edenfeld of Virgina; and a grandson.
Mausteller - A memorial service for Jeffrey L. Mausteller, who died
Thursday, May 10, 2007, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's
Lutheran Church in Evans City, with the Rev. David Saylor officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Youth Fund,
202 Van Buren St., Evans City, PA 16033, or to Safe Place, 2400 Crittenden
Drive, Louisville, KY 40217.
