Gentlemen,
If this is the same bill that was brought up before under
"Paul Marcotte?
Please rest assured that I have been working with him on
this bill shoulder to shoulder, we have come to an agreement
that he will add the exemption to this bill but he again
assured me that this bill is ONLY for blackberries and cell
phones. He understands the need for Amateur radio in the
events of emergencies and other uses in which we operate.
Again We have been working together on this bill and I have
his word. I have been keeping silent, because too many irons
in the pot and you can get the soup done.
I have been busy taking care of this matter, aside from personal
business because I myself understand Our need to serve and to
be able to use our equipment at all times, I have discussed
this with Mr. Marcotte and explained in great detail the need
to exempt Us from the bill. Not even my close friends knew
that I was working with Mr.Marcotte concerning this issue.
But he gave me his word. W8NSV
