Notes from across the section:

Area 3

DEC KI4JXN reports a new 440 repeater is now set up at city hall in
Owensboro operating on 444.550 + with no Tone.

Area 6

KE4AIE EC Anderson County reports that amateur radio operators provided
communications support and point control assistance to local Emergency
Management and Law Enforcement officials for the 2005 Lawrenceburg
Christmas Parade on 12/10. Three amateurs from Fayette County, Area 13
also assisted.

Area 13

EC KC4WZO reports that Woodford County ARES members supported the
Versailles Holiday Parade on 12/3/2005. Net Control operated from the
Emergency Management Mobile Command Post and operators provided
communications for Parade entry registration, traffic control, parade
line up, and entry judging.

My apologies for running late this month. Work is getting rather
intense. New NIMS requirements from Ky Office of Homeland Security for
the 2006 Fiscal Year are being examined and plans made in many amateur
groups to comply. SEC will be attending a meeting at the KyOHS offices
on January 17 to learn more.
