  I'll follow through with my reps but have already sent it to an
organization I belong to who has good connections as far as getting issues
like this looked at in the legislature; so, they should be a great help in
getting the bill amended if given the time to do so.

Prefiled bill for 2006 Kentucky Legislature attempts to ban cell phone use
in cars but because of language would ban the use of commercial and
amateur radio while mobile without the use of a headset.  CB radios are
specifically exempted.

Any hams with contacts in the legislature may wish to voice concerns and
push for an amendment.
