Incident # 20053549

November Tornados

In this recent severe weather outbreak across The Commonwealth of Kentucky,
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all Ky Ham, MARS, and CAP
members that helped support Skywarn- The National Weather Service and KY
Emergency Management with vital communications. This is what we do and what
we train for. When all else fails, we are the only critical and
interoperable link in a wide spread disaster. It would be great if each
district would send in Callsigns and location of operators along with any
related comments to Ron Dodson and we will log it in at the State EOC for
this incident. Even if operators did nothing but monitor there local
repeater and were on standby, your participation counts. Once again, that’s
for your time and talent during this incident.

Thanks and 73s,

Patrick Compton
