[KYHAM] Rephrasing Linux Question

My apologies to the group. Please permit me to re-phrase my question. Since I would like to install some HAM RADIO programs on a PC soon to be running Linux, which of the three versions of Linux should we try first?. Knoppix 3.7, Peanut Pro 9.6, or Suse Personal 9.1 on the following PC. Dell Optiplex GN+ 5200 200 MHz Pentium 40 MB EDO Ram.
 
 
I also apologize for those of you who may think that this is off-topic. As I'm Elmering a future Ham here in Radcliff, I thought that this would be considered radio-related on the KY Ham list.
 
If I'm wrong, please let me know, and I'll cancel my membership on this list. Incidentally, from the "Read Me" files on each CD I read, <64 MB ram will work, provided I create a swap file.
