The Bullitt Amateur Radio Society repeater system, transmitting on
146.700
MHz, now has an output PL tone of 79.7 Hz (changed from 151.4 Hz). On
August
1, 2005, the 79.7 Hz PL tone will be incorporated on both the input and
output. To access the B.A.R.S. repeater after Aug. 1, your
transceiver's
encode/decode must be set to 79.7 Hz. This action is taken to alleviate
interference on our repeater.

This repeater is the main repeater for the Louisville National Weather Service
During severe weather events when we are at the National Weather
Service Running Nets we will attempt to turn off the PL Tones. So anyone not knowing the
tones can still give us information during these events. But everyone should still program the new tones in, if possible.

                                    Thanks, Stu Kratz (wx4me)

                                     Skywarn Coordinator Lou. NWS
