[KYHAM] Owensboro Kid's Day Event

The Owensboro Amateur Radio Club will hold its ARRL Kid's Day event on
Saturday, June 18th at the Jack Fisher Softball Complex on the West side of
Owensboro.  The event will begin at 1800 UTC and OARC will be operating from
the picnic shelter.  Area scout troops have been invited to particpate, but
the event is open to any young person that would like to try Amateur Radio.
 
To access the location from U.S. 60 W in Owensboro, take Carter Road south
approximately 1/2-mile then turn right (West) on West Fifth Street Road and
go approximately 1 mile to the park.  Talk in on 147.210+ for directions to
the event.
