Notes from across the section: 

The single largest activation of the month occurred for the outbreak of
severe weather on Nov. 16, 2005. Numerous tornadoes and storms with high
winds and large hail impacted many areas of Kentucky. Between SkyWarn
nets as the storms approached and passed through into actual response
efforts in their aftermath, Ky amateurs reported 404 man hours toward
the whole operation. 

KEN, the statewide HF net activated through the late evening hours as
the state EOC, KY4EOC awaited information from affected communities on
3.993 MHz..  73,
