[KYHAM] GLHA Emergency Communications (EMCOMM) Forum and Awards

I just received word on the scheduling of the EMCOMM forum at the
Greater Louisville Hamfest on September 10, 2005.

The EMCOMM Forum will be held at 9 AM EDT.  I am not sure which room as
yet, but am sure it will be announced at the hamfest if we don't know
beforehand.  The program is still being completed at this time.  I can
tell you that the Annual Section Awards will be presented as a part of
the Forum. These include the Ky Section Ham of the Year, Ky Section
Newsletter of the Year, Ky ARES Operator of the Year as well as others.
So bring your cameras and your friends and spend a few minutes with us
discussing emergency communications and rewarding those who have gone
the extra miler in our state during FY 2005.

The ARRL Forum will immediately follow us at 10 AM. 3960 follows that at
11:30 and the MARS Forum is at 1 PM.  All are scheduled in the same room
and I understand another room will have Bingo early in the day and a
computer forum at Noon.  Looks like a full schedule and a great day for
learning (as well as buying) something
