[KYHAM] wireless networking

Greetings,

Who on these lists has a pretty good working knowledge of wireless
networks that might like to help me think about an idea that might be
good for Amateur Radio?

Specifically, I have a few questions about the wireless networks in
some towns where you can buy a subscription and they give you an
antenna or something of that sort.
