[KYHAM] 12VDC to 12VAC

Not strictly amateur radio related but I know a bunch of electronic folks
are on the list so please excuse.

I know it sounds a little wierd but Im looking for a way to convert 12VDC
to 12VAC. I believe a bridge rectifier may be possible but Im not finding
any information online about going from DC to AC. Most people want to go
the other way.

Im looking into powering low voltage garden lights off a
solarpanel/battery system....thus the need to go from 12VDC to 12VAC.

Im also looking for a 12VDC timer. Something where I can say either "turn
on at 7pm and off at midnight" or "run for X hours after I flip the
switch".
