[KYHAM] WTB 2 Meter Amp & Ham Fest Question

Forgive me if the is the wrong place to ask, I am looking to buy a 2 meter (FM ONLY) amp to mount in my car to amplify my 5 watt HT and get 25 to 30 watts out of it to be able to hit the local repeaters easier.

I know its a little early in the year to be speaking of ham fest, but I'm wondering if anyone knows when the ham fest is going to be in Owensboro this year?
