In an effort to add to and more logically segment the local information
listed on the KYHAM web site, and I going to change the format of the Local
Information pages. The addition of information will be to add a listing of
local nets to the site. This is in conjunction with the "Net List"
published by Martin Hensley, KF4EBC found at
http://www.qsl.net/kf4ebc/Nets.html

You will see a change in the coming weeks to the local information pages
that start at http://www.kyham.net/county.html These changes will include
a more logical segmenting of information with net, ARES, organizational and
VE listings. As my test case, I have formatted the District 13 page and
have submitted it to several people for feedback. After tweaking it a
little, I have finalized the listing format. It will take me a little time
to complete the different district pages, but I should have them all
completed in a week or two.

That's great, but so what. you ask? :) Well, I would love to have all who
host/check into/run local nets to let me know about them. Marty has a
great list, but information about the amateur radio world can easily become
outdated as people come and go. I want to make sure that everything Marty
and I have is accurate for that one new ham who just got his license, and
is looking for info. I will be adding listings based on his list, and your
feedback. I will pass your feedback to Marty so he can update his list too.

You can send information to me two ways. First is through email, or use
the "Site Update" form at http://www.kyham.net/forms/site.html

This is also a good time to review the information on your local
information pages, and let me know of any updates.

Many people say that the KYHAM web site is great, accurate, etc and that I
do a great job. Thanks, but I am an editor. 95% of the information in the
listings on the site comes from all of those who take a moment to share the
information. Over the years, it has worked, and the users of the site get
what they need; accurate and timely information. I thank all of you who
help for that!
