[KYHAM] E-Mail Address Change For Ky SEC

Effective as of today, please change your e-mail address book
entry from the ka4map at bbtel.com address.

This ISP started using a scanning software back in February of 04
which turns off users who do not meet the expectations of the
scanning software. Anyone sending what it considers too much
e-mail traffic or doing anything else it considers unusual is
automatically turned off. Once off, you have to wait until their
help desk opens and turns you back on. If it caught virus
infected people this would be fine, but all it does is decide if
you act "normal" or not. As coordinator for a 1,000 + member
amateur radio volunteer organization plus my EMA e-mail traffic,I
guess I am severely abnormal!

After having been repeatly shut down for extended weekend periods
while the help desk is closed I have decided it is time to change
ISP's and go to one with a 24/7 service in case I do have a
problem. Effective this date I will be using ka4map at iispky.com .
The KyHam web site's automatic e-mail composers and forwarders
will soon be updated to reflect this change and I hope it will
create a minimum of hardship for all of you. I will hang on to
the bbtel until the service runs out on the 26th and then it will
be inactive. I am also dropping the kysec at hotmail address as spam
is getting heavier there than the legit traffic.
