Louisville Hamfest Announces Banquet Program

The 2004 Louisville Hamfest Banquet has some good things planned after
dinner. Gary Clark, KU4EN, of 103.1 WRKA's team "Jeff and Gary in the
Morning" will be hosting the show and offering some ham humor. There will
also be an Old Timers Program letting us take a trip back in time.
Jim Weaver, K8JE, the ARRL Great Lakes Division Director, will be the guest
speaker of the evening.

In presentations, Best Club Newsletter and KY Amateur of the Year Awards
will be presented by KY Section Manager John D. Meyers, NB4K. KY Section
Emergency Coordinator Ron Dodson, K4MAP will present A.R.E.S. Awards and
Amateur Radio Service Certificates.

The final highlight of the evening will be The Royal Order of the
Wouff-Hong, amateur radio's most sacred symbol of law and order. However, to
participate in the Wouff-Hong you must be a licensed amateur and an ARRL
Member.

The Louisville Hamfest Banquet will be on Friday, September 10 and will
begin at 7PM. For more information and to make your reservation for the
banquet, visit the Greater Louisville Hamfest Association web site at
