[KYHAM] First On-Air Section ARES Meeting 1/26/04

During this coming Monday evening's Ky Emergency Net (3.888 MHz
at 8 PM EST/7PM CST), we will hold our first Ky ARES on-air
meeting.  This will become a regular monthly feature of the KEN
on the 4th Monday of each month.

Items on the agenda currently are:

1. KyHam Web Site Update

2. KyHam Listserv

3. Status of CERT Team Development in Ky

4. Training

Other items may be discussed but I ask everyone's cooperation 
that we NOT get into the ARRL Proposal for changes in licenses 
during the net. I have no control as the SEC, nor does the 
Section Manager, over what the ARRL Directors or the FCC think or 
do with this regard. Debating it on the HF net would serve no 
purpose except to allow tempers to flair on both sides of the 
issue. Please, let's focus the meeting on things we have direct 
control and choice over like the ARES organizations affairs 
within Ky.
