I realize this is a religious topic but I have to take issue with the
comment even though I realize it's part comedic.
The request is to allow access to certain HF bands, and some under limited
power, and no access to the areas where CW is used. It also doesnt
eliminate the testing of radio theory. (I wouldnt be opposed to requiring
more radio theory if that was considered appropriate)
I still haven't heard anyone give me a good reason why I should be
required to learn CW when I have no intention of ever using it.
I don't intend to drive a Semi Truck, so the department of motor vehicles
doesnt require me to learn how.
