If you recall, on the new Ky Emergency Net Schedule, the first 
Monday of the month is your opportunity to share info on web 
sites you have seen or books and magazine articles that you have 
read that might be helpful to others. Though QRM was 40 over S9 
tonight most of the time, we managed to pull through and hold the 
net anyway.

Reminder that our monthly TRAINING SEGMENT; "Disaster Driving" 
will be featured on next week's KEN of 2/9/04. You are also

are awarded those who pass the competency tests that follow the 
material.

Also a reminder that NWS SkyWarn Spotter Classes are being 
scheduled for counties across the state throughout February, 
March and April at this time.  Go to the Emergency Communications

scroll down to Special Training News: where you will find links 
for all NWSFO's that serve our state to see when classes are in 
your area.  Don't forget to check again regularly as more are
