[KYHAM] UK Amateur Radio Club

Hello, I am Jeff Withers, and I am a chemistry
graduate student at the University of KY.  I am the
president of the UK Amateur Radio Club.  I am trying
to revive some interest in the club on campus.  

This coming weekend I will be working the Collegiate
Amateur Radio Association QSO party.  I will be trying
to work as many college stations as possible and I
look forward to hearing from some KY hams.  I will be
on the air from 8am-noon, 6pm-? on Saturday the 20th. 
I can't work it too late since I am working a
triathlon the next morning at 6:30 am.  I may try to
work some on Sunday evening.

I will give news of the UKARC from time to time on
KYHAMS.  If you know any young hams on campus let them
know about the club.  We are trying to get the word
out but I don't have an abundance of free time to work
on it.

Recent talk of Field Day Blues  has me interested in
running a special event station on campus.  Maybe at
Midnight Madness? Homecoming?  Let me know if you have
any ideas.
