Tyler:

This looks good. I have added a 350/700 watt inverter from Walmart that
goes for around $35 to my kit. Plugs into cigarette lighter and allows =
for
charging or use of small ac only items from the car. Also went with the
Maha C777 charger for my handheld. It runs from either AC or DC and =
charges
faster than EOM charger and conditions the battery too.

Subject: [KYHAM] Emergency Kit..

I've not publicaly released this URL as Im still getting feedback from
folks, but if anyone is interested in my little project here you go:

This was my attempt at putting together a 24-48hr Emergency Response Kit
that I can keep in my car for use in ARES operations. Everything is =
fully
documented with an included picture of the kit.

Any comments/feedback would be appreciated.

Part 2 and 3 will be documenting a 48hr-5day and 5day+ emergency =
response
bag. Part 4 will be documenting my version of the ARES boom box =
emergency
power kit. I've already built it I just havent had the time to write up =
what
I did and to test it.

Though the documentation is written with the Amataur Radio operator in =
mind
it should be cross applicable to any emergency response person.

Thanks! Comments welcome.
