[KYHAM] F.A. Min. Bid $200 Rohn 45 G tower

OK, no one has looked at the tower yet so I am dropping the starting bid to 
$200. Let's get the bidding started. And don't forget to call JB to take a 
look at it. Following is the original posting.

Due to the fact that no one has had a chance to check out the Rohn 45G 
tower the auction will take place here on the Bluegrass ARS list serve. 
Contact J.B. Young/WA4WWH, phone (859) 266-0841, to set up a time to check 
it out. His address is 243 Sherman Avenue, Lexington.
The starting bid will for the (approx. 57') of Rohn 45G tower ( bottom 
section was set in concrete base and cut off) will be $300 which is a very 
low price. This tower includes a rotator plate, 2" thrust bearing and plate 
and guy wires. The bottom section has welded on climb prevention plates to 
prevent children from climbing the tower.
You can email me directly with your bid and I will post it on this list. I 
will not include the name of bidder. All bids are welcome Club members and 
non-members, however I must be able to verify your identity. So I ask you 
to include your name, call sign and phone number when you bid.
This is not ebay and there is no proxy bidding. I may only update the bid 
once a day. So please bid what you are willing to pay. And don't try to out 
do the other fellow by one dollar other wise you may be disappointed.
The highest bid received before Midnight Friday October 10th will be the 
winning bid. The winner is expected to pay and pick up the tower after 
making arrangements with JB Young WA4WWH.
The proceeds from this sale will go to the Bluegrass Amateur Radio 
Society's general fund account.
