[KYHAM] Meeting Reminder

Just a note to remind everyone that the regular monthly meeting of the
Bluegrass ARS will be tomorrow evening
at 7:30 PM in the Red Cross Building on Newtown Pike, Lexington. Prior to
the meeting there will be an auction of
items that have been donated to the Club my members, friends and members
of families of Silent Keys. 

One of the items that will be auctioned is six sections of Rohn 45G
tower. These may be viewed prior to the
meeting during the day tomorrow at the home of J.B. Young/WA4WWH, 243
Sherman Avenue, Lexington. J.B.'s

The program for tomorrow's meeting will be presented by Brandon
Nuttall/KG4RRI. Brandon will be giving
details of the devastating flood that hit areas in Franklin County and in
Frankfort, August 22, and information
about the probability of such geologic occurrences happening, the causes,
etc. 

An additional note:
The new hardline and antenna have been installed on the Channel 27
broadcast tower and the 146.760
repeater is working very well. Many thanks to everyone who helped with
this installation, especially
Mike Pugh/KA4MKG and Reggie Reimund/KG4NXM, and Ray Wilhoit's crew who
climbed the tower and
installed the hardline and antenna.
