[KYHAM] Preliminary Info on the SET - Oct 4

This is only a preliminary SET Summary because many areas of the
Ky Section will be having their SET's at other times in
cooperation with local EMA's etc.  I will be taking local and
area SET reports throughout the month as they are prepared.  

KEN had a total of 20 stations active from 1300 UTC through 1600
UTC on 7.228 MHz.  Counties represented were: Calloway, Marshall,
Christian, Breckinridge, Meade, Hardion, Jefferson, Kenton,
Pendleton, Floyd, Lawrence, Jackson, Lincoln and Harrison. 1
County EOC and 1 County EMA office were activated.  KEN Traffic
was 20 messages. W8LDW in Ohio and W0NXU a Kansas mobile also
checked in from out of state.  QRM ranged from light to very
heavy at times as SSTV and the NCS for the SET operation in Utah
was heard on frequency periodically. 

I will also be staying on the 146.550 frequency all day for
anyone working the simplex relay operations.
