               Spy and Clandestine Radio 
                      Building Contest 

               Sponsored by the Louisville KY Homebrewers Group

           Open to All Who Wish to Build a Working 
                   Spy or Clandestine Radio Receiver 

                       The Challenge is to Build a Simple Working Receiver
             From Parts That Were Available During WWII. The Receiver Should 
be  
             Able to be Hidden in Plain Sight. The Set Can be Battery or AC, 
Head-
             phones or Speaker, Regen, Reflex or TRF. Bands, Short Wave Only.
        

                  The Contest is for FUN.  Come, Test Your Skills. The        
                          
                  Receivers Will be Judged by The Following: 
                 

                  #  How Well the Receiver Can Be Concealed or Hidden
                  #  The Receiver Must be Made From Parts that Were
                      Available Up to 1944.
                  #  The Receiver Must Work and be Easy to Set Up
                  #  The Receiver Should be Able to Receive Short 
                      Wave Broadcast. ie the BBC
