Hi Walter,
So nice to hear from you. The demo devices were put together many years ago
just to show that the material in Radio Engineering really worked as Terman
explained it in his several editions of his classic work.
Perhaps we can put on a show in Mount Pleasant this summer-there are many
friends who are amateurs in the area. Perhaps our new Director Jim Weaver,
an old hand at this type of thing can make it if we do it at a local
hamfest-perhaps Midland or a club meeting.
Check: http://www.3960.net/ham29.htm
We will include your writings as a reference-we should dedicate it to you
because it is a very graphic example of what you teach.

Dave

Thank you for the accolade, Dave, it's nice to know that someone understands
the reason for that title--some shake their heads in ignorance. However, it
was fun thinking it up.
I met George Goldstone just once, probably around 60 years ago in Detroit.
If I remember correctly he was a lawyer. My Dad, W8YNG, knew him quite well.
I'm from Michigan originally, engineered and built WCEN in Mt. Pleasant, but
left to go with the RCA Labs in Princeton, NJ in 1949. Retired from RCA in
1980 and moved to DeLand, FL, where I live from Nov to May, and in Mt.
Pleasant May to Nov.
