	I have some audio amplifiers that are better than the LM386 for battery 
operated radios.
These are the Motorola MC34119P. They are in a 8 pin dip but the circuit is 
quite different that the
LM386.
	These amplifiers use a Bridge output that does not require a coupling 
capacitor between the amplifiers and your headphones.
The gain is adjustable over a wider range than the LM386 and they draw very 
little current.

I have plenty.
I also have plenty of the SA615 chips that are great for making receivers.
