Ladies and Gents,
As we shut this operation down, and start the mounds of
paperwork, there are going to be a lot of people recognized, and named.
Before all of that happens, I want to take the opportunity to
recognize a group of people who have made this entire operation
possible. Please ask them to come over to your computer and share this
with them.
As many of us were working our 12-24 hour shifts, there were a
group of people behind us supporting us, making sure we were okay, and
sacrificing the the ones they loved. The families of the hams also
made this possible by handling things in our place at home. They too
deserve as much credit as those who were running the radios. Everyone
please tip your hats to the husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, children
and other relatives who helped solve "home and family" problems related
to the storm so their loved ones could serve the community.
The only word in the English vocabulary is thanks, and it does
not seem to be enough to express the feelings that a lot of us have.
Take Care,
