Hi folks,
This is indeed a hoax. The file mentioned is the debugging tool =
for Java that is often installed with Windows. Unless you debug Java =
code you won't notice it missing. The purpose is to scare people into =
thinking they did indeed have a virus. An exhaustive writeup about this =
can be found at this web site. =20

TO ALL,
WAS TOLD THIS WAS A HOAX AFTER I POSTED. ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS ONE?
Bad news. This is a hoax...even though you and I both found the file.=20
It
is harmless...if you leave it alone and DO NOT delete it! I am trying =
to
find out exactly what happens once you delete it...because I also =
deleted
it! Will keep you up to date.

STEWART - KF4FMT
I FOUND THIS VIRUS ON MY COMPUTER. OTHERS MIGHT ALSO BE INFECTED.
STEWART H. DAHLMAN
Dear All,
A virus has been passed on to me by a contact. My
address book WAS infected. Since you are in my address
book, there is a good chance you will find it in your
computer too.
The virus(called jdbgmgr.exe.) is not detected by
Norton or McAfee anti-virus systems. The virus sits
quietly for 14 days before damaging the system. It is
sent automatically by messenger and by the address
book, whether or not you sent E-mails to you contacts.
