For those of you who follow the National Hurricane Center's 
amateur radio efforts each year.  FYI.

The specific protocol for reports are stated.
They do not want formal ARRL messages or long reports.
They do ask that reports be very brief, just Callsign,
Signal Report,
Location and a one or two word WX report of their actual WX.
This is not an SET or Hurricane Simulation, this is a
communications
Test of our station equipment and new operator training.

W4EHW Hurricane Season 2002 On-The-Air Station Test

Saturday, June 1st, 2002 9am-6pm EST (1300z-2200z)

The purpose of this annual Station Test is to test all of
our radio equipment, computers and antennas.
RFI monitoring is also done to NOAA & NHC equipment.
We will also be testing some new antennas and equipment that
are being installed for this coming season.
A few new operators will receive hands-on training.

W4EHW will be On-The-Air on HF, VHF and UHF
We plan on using the following phone frequencies +/-QRM
7.268mhz, 14.325mhz, 21.325mhz, 28.525mhz.
CW will be on 14.035, 21.035 and 28.035. PSK31 on 14.070.
South Florida area VHF & UHF Repeaters & 146.52 simplex &
144.200 ssb

Some specific times & Frequencies to look for W4EHW:
1300z 3.911Mhz, 7.281MHz, VHF/UHF FM
1330z 7.268MHz
1400z 14.325MHz, VHF/UHF FM
1500z 144.200MHz SSB
1500Z 14.070MHz PSK31
1700z 14.325MHz, 21.325MHz, VHF/UHF FM
1800z 21.325MHz, 28.525MHz
2000z 14.325MHz, 144.200MHz SSB
The above are planned schedules, but may vary depending on
propagation and behinds the scenes Training and Equipment
Testing.
