Commendation
and Ky ARES Operator of the Year 2002 Award Winners.
(For the benefit of those not at the awards banquet the
previous evening.)
12:05 - 12:35 (approx. depending on Q&A time) A Report on
Earthquake Hazard/Threats for ARES Planning Efforts
by Brandon Nuttall, KG4RRI of Frankfort, KY. Brandon is a
geologist who works for KGS and should offer a little better
insight for those of you who want to know what to
expect/plan for with regard to responses following major
quakes in this region.
12:35 - 12:45 Report by SEC on any current info regarding
the $181,900 Homeland Security Grant that was awarded to
ARRL for training of ARES Responders nation-wide.
12:45 - 12:50 Briefing by SEC on plans for SET 2002,
scheduled for October 5, 2002
