This week's KEN Training focussed on ,"The KERR and
ARES Activation Issues". Next week, we will examine,
"Ky Frequencies and NETS, "Who's On First?"".
Anyone seeing any particular topical area of the Ky
Emergency Response Reference which you feel needs extra
emphasis in future weeks drop me a line and pass it on.
As this is our state (section) plan which discusses
LARGE SCALE operations it is very general in scope and
leaves lots of room for area and local ARES plans to
become more specific as to their individual needs and
situational requirements. This generality of the KERR
can sometimes leave questions as to interpretation in
the minds of many. If I can help clarify any concern
in the KEN training forum, I'll be most happy to do so
to insure that we all get the maximum benefit from this
document and then you can make your localized plans
even more effective as well.
If you have not downloaded and examined the 2002 KERR
yet, I invite you to do so.
