I agree with the fact of talking with the local stores and setting up 
something with the managers. I haven't seen the boxes the radio from Radio 
Shack lately, but about 5 or 6 years ago, they used to have a big notice 
stamped on the box that informed anybody who looked at it that they must 
have a license to use the radio. If I can remember it, I will look and see 
if I still have the box at home for my HTX-202 and see what's on that box.
