[KYHAM] Net Controls

To all Kentucky Hams,
As you all probally know by now I am assuming the position of Net
Manager for the Kentucky Traffic Net as of Jan. 1, 2003. At this point I
am going to ask that any of you who could, please consider volunteering
as net controls for the KTN. I currently need net controls for Monday
evening and for Saturday evening. Serving as net control is excellent
training for emergency communication. If you can serve in this position
please do not sit back and think that only two net control stations are
needed. If you do that no one will volunteer for this job. Please help
me make the KTN the vital link in the national traffic system that it is
supposed to be. Service is a major function of amateur radio and is one
of the reasons we have the priviledges we do. Being a net control only
takes a few minutes each week if we all do our part.
