[KYHAM] "ARES Boom Box."

Over the past year, I have had a few people ask me if I knew how to get 
information on this.

Many of you may remember this from the October 2000 Edition of QST.  It is 
a self contained communications platform for emergency use.  Thanks to Ron 
Nutter, KA4KYI the link to this great tool has come back to my 
attention.  I lost track of it about a year ago.

I had an email conversation with the originator of the idea. Bob Murdock, 
WX2NJ this evening, and he gave me permission to keep a link to his idea on 
the KY Amateur Radio Resources page.  Bob seems to be a very fine fellow, 
and he said that he updates the page when he discovers something new.

He is appreciative of the questions, and support he has received about

He travels occasionally, and says that when he gets down this way, he would
