[KYHAM] Santa Show

Hello Everyone,

This is to inform all interested persons that the Santa Show will happen
again this year in Lexington.  The neat thing is we are doing this at thr=
ee
hospitals this year instead of just one.

What is the Santa Show?   Those of us that are brave to go out into the
world of sick children will be carrying UHF radios set on the 444.125 pl
88.5.......  and giving the children an opportunity to talk to SANTA ! =

Last year we went to  UK Medical Center to the Childrens wing and met wit=
h
approximately 15 children of various ages .. even teens  participated.  I=
t
was alot of fun and the children that were allowed ... were given candy
canes by the "ham elfs"  :-)

The dates are this:

Shriners Hospital  - Monday, December 9th .  Meet a few minutes before 6:=
00
PM  to organize the group.
Central Baptist Hospital- Tuesday, December 10th.  Time is approximately
the same of 6:00 PM
University of Kentucky Medical Center-  Monday, December 16th.  Meet at
5:00 to organize -- Must be done by 6:45 or so to get to
the board meeting at 7:30.

I have one delimma.   JB, WA4WWH, cannot be SANTA on Tuesday the 10th.   =
I
am looking for a volunteer who can hit the =

444.125 clearly to be Santa's voice.   All he has to do is talk to these
kids and HO HO a bit.

Unfortunately, these dates are set in stone and cannot be changed to
accomodate JB on the 10th.

So..... all you SANTA voices out there.... please help me to make this
event happen onTuesday the 10th.   Volunteer !!  I just need
ONE more!
