Clifton Hubert Guffey  W4HJI

Alabama- Clifton Hubert Guffey, 79, of Centre, Alabama died Tuesday, August 
27, 2002 at his residence.  Mr Guffey was a native of Tompkinsville, KY.  He 
was assistant manager for South Central Rural Telephone Cooperation on 
Glasgow, KY for many years and retired as manager of Wilkes Telephone MEMB 
Corp., Wilkesboro, NC.   Mr. Guffey
was a charter member of Mammoth Cave Amateur Radio Club, Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 10am Friday, August 30, at Perry Funeral 
Home Chapel, Centre, Alabama.  Burial to follow in the Cherokee Memory 
Gardens.  Visitation was from 6 - 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
