It is with deepest regret that I advise you of the passing
of Walter H. Bowman, WD4RAK of Radcliff, Ky. last evening,
August 24, 2002.

WD4RAK was an active op on the CW bands and one of the
fastest copiers of code I ever had the priviledge of
knowing. Walt was a charter member of the Lincoln Trail
Amateur Radio Club and a Volunteer Examiner serving amateurs
in this area ever since the VE program has been in
operation.  No arrangements have been made as of this
writing.  Will advise when it becomes available.
