Yes, they saaid that they plan to make this a regular thing.
No, at this time, there is no tone on the 53.430 repeater.
I would have given everyone notice on here if I had known it
sooner myself. I was getting ready for our regular Sunday
WARN on 146.625 and 443.350
last night, chatting with some locals on 2 m about the
events early yesterday with the storms when my friend,
KB9SOE called and said to switch from 52.525 to the machine
as he had discovered that they were having a first go at the
net. This was about 8:12 and the net had been going since
8! If you guys who read this here check in, be sure to say
where you learned about it, maybe KyHAM List etc. will get a
new boost in subscribers as they did not have an awareness
of its existence.
Considering on how short of a notice it started, they had a
nice turnout!
Sorta warms the ol' finals to see a good turn out, doesn't
it? ;^)
