[KYHAM] KEN Gets a Treat!

If you missed the Ky Emergency Net this evening, you missed
a real treat.

Prior to the KEN, I was on 6 meters and happened across an
amateur, W4OKW who was aero-mobile in a Navy C-130 flying
over the state.  We were talking about rigs and he mentioned
that they could work 75 meters from the plane.  I promptly
invited him to join us for KEN on 3.888 MHz and he agreed.
It was a memorable experience for the net to have such
distingushed company with us.  I offered him a chance to
work a few of the stations on the net and he obliged until
he had to return to his duties on the aircraft. I thanked
him for his time and for the efforts of their crew in
protecting our nation and wished them all a safe journey.
