By the way, the 444.900 in Corbin is linked to the IRLP ( internet =
repeater linking project ) and you can talk all over the world on it. I =
worked Vancouver Island and Apple Valley Ca. on it on a brief visit to =
Corbin two days ago.=20

The 444.900 in Corbin was alive and well on April 18.
Apparently there was a 444.900 located somewhat closer
to Louisville at one time, I believe it has
"disappeared" for what ever reason.
My 444.9 is normally linked to 444.475<Near Mammoth
Cave> and 444.425 <Morgantown>. The conbined coverage
of the 444.9 and 444.425 give reasonable mobile
coverage from Elizabethtown to Central City on the
WKP. All the mentioned repeaters require a 179.9 tone.
I also maintain a 147.225 repeater near Leitchfield,
which covers a substantial portion of Grayson County.
