The Newcomer's/Trader's Net meets every Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM EST on
146.76 minus. This repeater is located in Lexington KY. The range is
approximately 40 to 50 miles. The purpose is to make available items for
sale, trade or give-away, amateur and related equipment. It is a directed
net and all stations are welcomed to participate. Besides items for
sale/trade, stations may also ask questions concerning ham radio, make
announcements or just check in.

  Yaesu FT-901DM. This is an analog xcvr with a digital display and memory
channels. The second Yaesu entry into the digital world. It is a combination
of the famous FT-101 series radios with many refinements, including
filtering. It uses 6146 tubes in the output instead of the sweep tubes in
the earlier models. It runs the 160 thru 10 meter bands, AM, FM, FSK, USB,
LSB and CW. Puts out 100 watts, has an ac power supply built in. With
