Response so far has been good.
Sure, let the Indiana list gang know.
Right now the majority of us who have been talking about
this are in a circle about 60 or so miles in diameter around
the Louisville, Ky area. The old net that sort of died out
last year often had stations as far away as Corbin, Ky.,
Ohio, WVa. and other places check in on FM.
What we need are a few high profile NCS's who can trade off
duties to minimize their wear and tear and maximize the
useful range of the net. Promoting 6 meter use and
fellowship is our goal. Pass the word. If the majority of
interest is for SSB we can swing that way or if it is for
FM, we can do that too. If enough interest exists we might
need to do both. Wouldn't that be great!
BTW, I have not heard the Columbus group yet. I'll keep my
ear open now that I have more than one rig one the air.
73,
Ron
