It is with deep regret that I share the news of the passing of Ted James, 
WD4KYD of Georgetown.  Ted passed away suddenly this afternoon at St. 
Joseph's Hospital in Lexington after a long illness.

Ted was the ARES Coordinator in Scott County, and was a co-winner of the 
2000 ARES Operator of the Year Award.  He was also a member of Scott County 
Emergency Management.

Ted is survived by his wife, two children, and one grandchild.

Visitation and Services will be at Johnson Funeral Home located at 641 S. 
Broadway in Georgetown, KY
Visitation: Friday 12/21/01 5-8PM
Services: Saturday 12/22/01 10:30
Burial will be following the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Woodford 
County.

I have known Ted for quite a while, and he served as a role model to me in 
my emergency services work, and my personal life.  Ted, you will be very 
sorely missed!
