Larry,

The Sandhills and Trojan ARCs in western KS recently applied for and received a grant from Icom America for a D-Star repeater system
including controller, UHF or VHF repeater and G2 Gateway software. Ray from Icom sent me following email regarding additional
systems available. Kansas is one of the target areas included in the Icom grant specifications. These new D-Star repeaters are now
running in Colby and Scott City.

If this is something that you think is of interest to members of your list, please forward it. Any Club interested can contact Ray
directly – his info is included below.

Thanks

Mike,

I see you were serious about getting a system and putting it on the air! That was fast! I have a few more systems available. Do
you know of any other clubs who would like to put up a system?

W0AIB comment: If there are any organizations in this area interested in building up a D-Star digital repeater system, please
contact Ray, N9JA, directly, but please copy Mike, K0FJ. This is a wonderful opportunity!
