Subject: [KokomoHams] KARC July Meeting

The July meeting is this coming Sunday July 20th at 7:00 pm.? Remember we also have scheduled a tour of the Howard County Communications Center at 6:00 pm, prior to the meeting. Please plan to meet in the Howard County Jail parking lot at the corner of Markland and Berkley. The regular club meeting will still be held at the EMA building.? There will also be a Repeater Club meeting following the Radio Club meeting.

The club meeting will include a demonstration of DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) and presentation by Steve Jones, N9KYB.  During the repeater club, expect discussion on PL tone changes and other updates from the Indiana Repeater Council.

John,

Health & Welfare:  Update on our status.

It looks like we'll be extending our trip to Germany for a 
year.  This will be confirmed later this week.

I may be back briefly in August and will attend the meeting if I'm in town.

Now that we're going to be here longer, I need to research about 
operating over here.  If anyone knows of a good reference, I'd appreciate it.

Also, if you know of anyone who'd like to buy a used '07 Suburban we 
may have one for sale.

Tell everyone Wesley and I said 73.
