I will change my records to indicate that the total $50 is to be entered as repeater updates and no change to your prior membership status.  I received other checks indicating that they wanted to use part for membership and part for upgrades.  Sorry for the mix-up.

Jim,

I sent Bob Hulka a $50. check to use for the repeater upgrades.  A few days
later, I received a receipt in the mail telling me that the money had been
applied to my membership dues thru 2018.  I enclosed a note telling Bob to
use the money for the upgrades.  What gives?

I would have sent a copy of this to Bob, but I did not have his email
address.

Thanks, and 73's
