Jack,
I listened to the Howard County Hams and they just a hell of a great job.
I have a base station and just before the first funnel struck at 331PM I 
had to unplug the risk so my ICOM IC 746 PRO wouldn't get zapped.
I'm investing in a HT Dual Bander as Christmas present for me this year.
I hope my information about the Howard County Hams is helpful I noticed
