The 2012 Hendricks County Parks Foundation Park2Park Relay running 
race is coming up on June 16, 2012. The event starts at Sodalis Park 
in southeastern Hendricks County and ends at McCloud Park in the 
northwestern part of the county. Amateur radio will be heavily 
involved this year and we'll need lots of operators to fully staff the event.

There you'll find descriptions of the types of positions we need to 
fill. You can also download the assignment sheet listing the exact 
assignments along with their starting and ending times. A preliminary 
map of the running route is also available for download. More 
detailed maps will be posted in the near future.

If you would like to volunteer to help with this event, please check 
the assignment sheet for a position that fits your availability and 
then contact me via telephone or email as listed below.

This is a very important event for amateur radio in Hendricks County. 
Not only will we provide a valuable service for the participants in 
the race, but we will be able demonstrate our communications skills 
to county public safety officials. The event organizers, our EMA 
Director, and myself are counting on amateur radio to help out with this event.
