[KL7AA] [AK-VHF] NET & VHF Contest this Saturday

Thanks for the reminder Ed. I'll also be on air this Saturday for the
contest. I'll have FM and SSB capability on 6m, 2m, and 70cm. I'll try to
check in to the SSB net in the morning and then I'll be calling CQ at 1000.
My first grid square puts me near flat top, so I should be able to reach
all of Anchorage and out to the Kenai from there. My next grid is at
kinkaid park, which will be a little tougher to operate from due to the
trees. I'll be at the motorcross park so I should be able to get reasonable
line of sight towards the Kenai. Anchorage contacts will be easy though.
Later in the day I'll be operating from up near susitna, so I could really
use some help from anyone in Big Lake, Wasilla, or Anchorage who has a yagi
they could point that way. I'll have vertically polarized yagis mounted on
my truck, but gain on both ends of the contact always helps.
